Personalized Dance Day video eCards
Be the first to know when Dance Day cards launch.
Can't wait? Personalized Santa Claus cards are available now.
National Dance Day is celebrated in the United States on the third Saturday of September. It was launched in 2010 by Nigel Lythgoe, co-creator of So You Think You Can Dance, to get people up and moving, and it moved from July to September in 2019. There's also an International Dance Day on April 29, in case you need a second excuse. No experience is required for either one.
An eCardToon Dance Day card is a short animated video that says the person's name and passes along your message, with some enthusiastic moves thrown in. We're planning scenes like a disco with a very confident penguin, a kitchen dance party in socks, and a character who is doing their best, and that's what counts. It's a cheerful way to tell someone you love their moves, or that it's time they tried some.
It's a natural for dance teachers and their students, a dance team before the big recital, the couple who met on a dance floor, or the friend who always starts the conga line. Say something personal: 'You taught me to salsa at Rosa's wedding, and my feet have never recovered.' Or issue a challenge: 'Kitchen, Saturday, eight o'clock, bring your worst move.' You have up to 50 words.
You'll see the exact script before you pay. Your card is ready in minutes and arrives by email with a private link to send by text, plus a video to download in the video shape you choose. Fair warning: the people who watch it may end up dancing in the kitchen.
