Personalized It's My Party Day video eCards
Be the first to know when It's My Party Day cards launch.
Can't wait? Personalized Santa Claus cards are available now.
It's My Party Day falls on October 11. It's an unofficial holiday, its origins are unclear, and its logic is flawless: you don't need a birthday, a promotion or anyone's permission to throw yourself a party. You just need to decide that today is the day. The name also brings to mind the 1963 Lesley Gore hit, though this version is much happier and nobody ends up crying.
An eCardToon It's My Party Day card is a short animated video that says your friend's name and tells them they're on the list. We're imagining a character in a sash that they made themselves, a one-person parade down the hallway, and a cake that says 'Because I Said So.' It's silly and confident, and it's a lot more fun than a group text with a time and a question mark.
Use it as an invitation: tell them the what, the when and the theme. 'Saturday, 7 o'clock. No occasion. I bought a piñata and I'm not sorry.' Keep the address for a follow-up text, because addresses and phone numbers stay out of messages for privacy. Or flip it around and send one to a friend who deserves a party of their own: 'Today, you're the guest of honor. Dinner's on me.' You have up to 50 words.
You'll see the exact script before you pay. Your card is ready in minutes and arrives by email with a private link that's easy to share, plus a video to download in the video shape you choose. Each card carries one guest's name, which makes every guest feel like the VIP, even though it's your party.
