Día de los Muertos, the Day of the Dead, is observed November 1 – November 2, 2026. Rooted in Mexico and celebrated by many families across Latin America and the United States, it is a time to honor and remember loved ones who have died. Families build ofrendas, home altars decorated with photos, candles, marigolds and favorite foods, to welcome their memory. It is a joyful remembrance, distinct from Halloween. Our Día de los Muertos cards are designed to support that spirit with a gentle animated greeting and your own words.

We're creating calm, colorful scenes inspired by the holiday's traditions: glowing candles, bright orange marigolds, papel picado fluttering above an altar. The character speaks the name of the person you're sending to and shares your message, with no jokes and no spooky imagery. We're also exploring a peaceful path of marigold petals leading to a candlelit home, a symbol of welcoming loved ones back in memory. Each scene is designed with care so that it feels like a tribute rather than a decoration.

A card like this can tell a family member that you're remembering their mother or grandfather with them this year, or share a favorite story about someone you both loved. It can also be a quiet way to reach relatives you won't see at the family altar. You might mention the person you're remembering, a dish they loved, or a lesson they taught you. Fifty words is enough to say something meaningful. Grief and joy often sit side by side during this season, and many families find comfort in telling stories, laughing at old memories and sharing a loved one's favorite music. A personal video card can be a gentle part of that, sent with love to someone who is remembering too.

Cards are ready within minutes and arrive by email with a private, unlisted link. You can download the video in phone or widescreen format to share with family, and you'll see the exact script before checkout so every name appears as you intend.
