Veterans Day is Wednesday, November 11, 2026, in the United States. Held on the anniversary of the armistice that ended fighting in World War I, it honors everyone who has served in the US armed forces. It's different from Memorial Day, which remembers those who died in service; Veterans Day is a chance to thank the living veterans in your life. An eCardToon Veterans Day card lets an animated character address them by name and deliver your message of gratitude.
We're designing respectful, dignified scenes: a flag waving against a clear sky, a hometown street lined with banners, or a quiet moment of salute. The tone is sincere and appreciative, with no gimmicks. Another concept shows a small-town parade with a veteran waving from a convertible, or a family porch with a flag gently rising at dawn. Each scene keeps the focus on gratitude and respect, so your message comes through clearly.
Many veterans don't talk much about their service, and a simple thank-you from family or friends can mean a lot. Consider sending a card to a parent or grandparent who served, a neighbor, a coworker, or a friend who recently came home. If you know their branch or years of service, mention it, or share what their example has meant to you. Short, heartfelt words are the most powerful. Veterans Day is also an opportunity to thank military spouses and families, who share in the sacrifices of service. If someone you know recently returned home or retired from the military, a personal video card is a meaningful way to mark the day and let them know they're appreciated.
Cards are ready within minutes and arrive by email with a private link that plays on phones and TVs. You can download the video in phone or widescreen format, and you'll see the exact script before checkout so names and ranks are written correctly. For a veteran who doesn't use email, you can download the video and share it in person.
