In the United States, Friendship Day is celebrated on the first Sunday in August, which is Sunday, August 1, 2027; the United Nations' International Day of Friendship is observed on July 30. Either date is a good excuse to tell a friend what they mean to you. An eCardToon Friendship Day card puts a cartoon character in charge of saying it, using your friend's name and a message you write.
We're planning scenes like two cartoon pals sharing an umbrella, a road-trip car packed with snacks, or a character holding up a sign with your friend's name at the finish line. It's lighthearted, a little goofy, and personal in a way a forwarded meme isn't. Another scene in the works shows a character mailing a giant paper airplane across the map to a friend who moved away. Each card is drawn to make the recipient grin, and the private link means it stays between the two of you unless they choose to share it.
Friendship cards work for every kind of friend: the one you've known since kindergarten, the coworker who became family, the neighbor who always waters your plants, or the friend you've drifted from and want to reconnect with. If you're not sure what to write, try one specific memory and one sentence about why you're grateful. That combination tends to mean the most, and it fits easily within the 50-word limit. Long-distance friendships especially benefit from a little effort. If your schedules rarely line up for calls, a short video that says their name and remembers something only the two of you would know can do a lot to close the gap, and it's something they can come back to on a hard day.
Every card is rendered for one person, ready within minutes, and emailed to you with a private link. Forward it, text it, or download the video in phone or widescreen format. You'll review the exact script before you pay, so nicknames come out exactly as intended. If you're celebrating with a whole circle of friends, each person can receive a card of their own with a message written just for them.
