National Sisters Day is observed on the first Sunday of August in the United States. It's an informal day, and it's a nice one: a chance to celebrate the person who knows all your stories, borrowed your clothes without asking, and would still drop everything if you called. Blood sisters, stepsisters, sisters-in-law and the best friend who became family all count.
An eCardToon Sister's Day card is a short animated video that says your sister's name and delivers your message. We're planning scenes such as a shared-bedroom border drawn in masking tape, a closet raid in progress, or two characters laughing too hard to finish a sentence. It's the kind of thing she'll send to the rest of the family, whether you want her to or not.
Your message can be as sweet or as cheeky as your relationship. Mention the phone call you had at 2 a.m., the sweater she still hasn't given back, or what she did for you when things fell apart. 'You've been my first call for thirty years. I've still got your sweater.' You have up to 50 words, and one specific memory goes a long way. If you've got more than one sister, each can have her own card, which at least avoids one argument.
You'll read the exact script before you pay, so her nickname comes out as only you would say it. The card is ready in minutes and arrives by email with a private link to send by text, plus a video to download in the video shape you choose. It's a small surprise she'll keep.
