Can't wait? Personalized Santa Claus cards are available now.
When someone you care about is unwell, recovering from surgery, or simply having a rough stretch, it can be hard to know what to say. You may not want to intrude, and you may worry about saying the wrong thing. An eCardToon Get Well card offers a quiet way to reach out: a short animated video in which a kind cartoon character says their name and shares a few caring words from you.
We're planning calm, comforting scenes for this collection, such as a cozy room with a warm cup of tea, a window with soft rain giving way to sunshine, or a friendly character bringing a bouquet of flowers. You can choose a classic get well message or write your own of up to 50 words. A short, heartfelt note is enough. 'Thinking of you and wishing you an easy recovery' can mean a great deal. If you're not sure how much they want to talk about their health, it's fine to leave details out entirely and simply say you're sending your love.
Choose whatever feels right for the person and the situation. For a friend with a broken leg, a lighter message may suit them; for someone facing a longer illness, a simple reminder that they're loved and not alone may be best. You know them, and the card speaks exactly the words you choose. For someone in the hospital, a card can be a welcome distraction during long hours of waiting. For someone recovering at home, it may be a reminder that the world hasn't forgotten them while they rest. Either way, there's no need for them to reply, and it's good to say so in your message, so they don't feel any pressure to respond before they're ready.
You'll see the full script before checkout, so you can make sure the tone and their name are just as you intend. The card is emailed to you within minutes with a private link that isn't publicly listed. They can watch it on a phone from a hospital bed or the couch at home, and you can download the video in phone (9:16) or widescreen (16:9) to send however is easiest for them.
