Can't wait? Personalized Santa Claus cards are available now.
World Party Day, also known as P-Day, is celebrated on April 3. It's an unofficial day with a charming history: it's generally traced to Vanna Bonta's 1995 novel Flight, whose readers decided the fictional celebration ought to be real. The idea is simple and hard to argue with. People all over the world take the same day to enjoy life together, and everybody is welcome.
An eCardToon World Party Day card brings that spirit to one person's phone. It's a short animated video that says their name and invites them to the fun in your own words. We're planning scenes with confetti, dance floors, globe-trotting party hats and a character who has absolutely brought too many snacks. Send one to a friend across the ocean, a cousin you only see at weddings, or the people you want at your table this year.
It also makes a good little invitation. Tell them what, when and what to bring: 'Saturday at our place. Bring your worst dance moves and something to share.' Keep street addresses and phone numbers for a follow-up text, since we keep those out of messages for privacy. You have up to 50 words, and since every card is for one person, you can make a separate one for each friend you want there.
You'll check the exact script before you pay. The card is ready in minutes and arrives by email with a private link to share by text or email, plus a video to download in the video shape you choose.
