Can't wait? Personalized Santa Claus cards are available now.

Black History Month is observed all of February 2027 in the United States. It grew out of Negro History Week, which historian Carter G. Woodson launched in 1926, and it has been recognized nationally as a month-long observance since 1976. It is a time to learn, to honor the achievements of Black Americans, and to celebrate the people in our own lives who carry that history forward.

An eCardToon Black History Month card will let an animated character speak your recipient's name and share a message you write. It could be a thank-you to a mentor who opened doors for you, a note of pride for a student who gave a presentation on a historical figure, or a celebration of a family elder whose story deserves to be told. We are designing these scenes to be uplifting and respectful, with no jokes at the expense of the occasion. You can also use the card to share something you learned this month, such as a figure whose story moved you, and explain why it stayed with you.

Because the observance lasts the whole month, there is room to send more than one card. Teachers might send a short message to a class, a team lead might recognize colleagues who organized a speaker series, and families might share a card that highlights a relative's accomplishments. If you mention a historical fact or quotation, please double-check it first; your words are spoken exactly as written. A few heartfelt sentences about a real person in your life often mean more than a long list of famous names.

You will see the full script before checkout, and the card is delivered by email within minutes as a private link that plays on phones and TVs. You can also download it in vertical phone or widescreen format to share in a classroom, a workplace chat or a family group.
