Personalized Lunar New Year video eCards

Lunar New Year begins on Saturday, February 6, 2027, ushering in the Year of the Goat. Celebrated by families across China, Korea, Vietnam and communities around the world, it is a time for reunion dinners, visits to relatives, red envelopes, and fresh starts. Whether your family says Xinnian kuaile, Gong hei fat choy, or Chuc mung nam moi, the heart of the greeting is the same: wishing someone health, luck and happiness in the year ahead.

An eCardToon Lunar New Year card will let a cheerful animated character greet your recipient by name and pass along your wishes. You can choose a classic New Year greeting or write your own message, such as a wish for good health for grandparents, success for a friend starting a new job, or a simple note that you miss them and wish you could share the reunion meal. If someone in your family was born in a Goat year, the card is a fun way to note that their zodiac year has come around again.

Video cards are especially welcome when family is spread across cities or countries and you cannot all be at the same table. A card that says their name out loud feels much more personal than a forwarded sticker, and it is easy to drop into a family group chat so everyone can watch. You are welcome to write your message in English or include a short greeting in the language your family uses, and you will see exactly how it reads before checkout. Many people also send cards during the days that follow the first day of the New Year, so there is no need to rush to be first in the chat.

Cards are ready within minutes and arrive by email as a private link. They play smoothly on phones, tablets and TVs, and you can download the video in a vertical phone format or a widescreen format, which is handy for sharing on the messaging apps your relatives already use.
