Personalized Hug Day video eCards
Be the first to know when Hug Day cards launch.
Can't wait? Personalized Santa Claus cards are available now.
Hug Day falls on February 12, the sixth day of Valentine's Week, the run of themed days from February 7 to Valentine's Day that's especially popular in India and among couples online. It's a day about comfort and closeness, and it doesn't have to be romantic: a hug belongs to a best friend, a grandparent, a sister, or anyone who could use one.
Hugs are hard to send over a phone. That's the gap an eCardToon Hug Day card is meant to fill: a short animated video that says the person's name and passes along your words, so they feel a little of what you'd say if you were standing next to them. We're planning soft, friendly scenes built around big-hearted characters and open arms.
It's a lovely fit for long-distance relationships, for college kids who are far from home, for a parent who lives across the country, or for a friend going through a rough patch. Keep your message simple: 'This is me hugging you from 800 miles away. Hold on, I'm almost there.' Up to 50 words is plenty, and a small detail only you two would know makes it land.
You'll see the exact script before checkout, so a nickname reads just the way you say it. The card is ready in minutes and reaches you by email with a private link to pass along, plus a video you can download in the video shape you choose. Then send it, and maybe follow it up with the real thing as soon as you can.
