Personalized Canada Day video eCards

Canada Day falls on Thursday, July 1, 2027, the day Canadians celebrate the country's birthday with fireworks, backyard barbecues, parades and plenty of red and white. It marks the anniversary of Confederation in 1867, and for many families it's the unofficial kickoff of summer. An eCardToon Canada Day card lets a cartoon character wish someone a happy Canada Day by name, then deliver a greeting you choose or a short message you write yourself.

We're sketching scenes with a cheerful character waving a maple leaf flag at a lakeside cottage dock, or watching fireworks light up the night sky over a city waterfront. The fun part is hearing their own name in the middle of it, which turns a simple holiday wish into something that feels made for one person, because it is. You could also picture a canoe gliding past a campfire, or a character in a red toque leading a hometown parade down Main Street. Every scene is drawn in a bright, friendly style that reads clearly on a small phone screen or a big TV in the cottage living room.

Canada Day cards are a natural fit for relatives who moved away, friends spending the long weekend at the cottage without you, or new Canadians celebrating one of their first July 1sts in the country. They also work well for Canadians living abroad who miss the hometown fireworks. Keep it short and personal: a memory from a past Canada Day, a plan to get together, or a simple note that you're thinking of them. Families can also use a card to welcome a newborn to their first Canada Day, or to thank the neighbor who always lets everyone watch the fireworks from their deck. Whatever you choose, a name and one personal detail make the card feel like it came from you.

Each card is ready within minutes and arrives by email with a private link that plays on phones and TVs. You can download the video in phone (9:16) or widescreen (16:9) format to share by text or social media, and you'll see the exact script before checkout so every name is spelled the way you want it.
